Raising Creative Babies

It is never too early to bring out the creativity of your baby. Some parents start while their babies are still in the womb by reading to them or playing music. But you can increase your baby’s exposure by simply creating the correct environment. Let us start with something simple like choosing the correct baby clothes and baby accessories for your little one. It helps a lot if the different baby clothes and baby accessories have themes that can help you build the creativity of your baby. This way no matter what your baby is doing you can use the situation to spark their imagination. Here are some ways where you can use a regular event to boost the creativity of your baby.

1. Dress Up Time
When you buy baby clothes you have a choice of choosing the simple ones or ones that can spark the imagination of your baby. For example you can choose baby clothes with cute drawings so you can use it to tell your babies stories. Better yet you can dress your little baby up in special themed baby clothes and create an adventure especially for them. Let them experience farm life in an adorable cow outfit or what it’s like to roam the meadows as an adorable little rabbit. As your baby grows older then maybe they can start choosing which themed baby clothes they would want to wear and start creating an adventure all on their own.

2. Mealtime
Mealtime is a good time to let their imagination take over. There are a variety of baby accessories you can get like utensils and baby bibs that you can use to make mealtime more fun. Build up your baby accessories, get a variety of baby bibs and let them explore a whole new world. One day your little girl can be a beautiful flower that is visited by bees and butterfly and lady bugs. Your little boy can be a fireman one day or a pilot the next. Other baby accessories you can use are place mats and cups

3. Bathtime
Bath time is another ideal time to let your baby’s imagination run wild. There is a whole collection of baby accessories that you can use like themed wash cloths and bath toys to create a whole other world for them. Let them sail the sea in search of the great white whale and let them encounter different types of sea life. Extend their bath time fun with other baby accessories like themed bath towels. Wrap them up in a whale towel after their undersea adventure and let them “swim around” like a whale before dressing them up.

You can get a variety of ideas from the baby clothes and baby accessories you provide for your baby but you are not limited to them. Just remember to grab every opportunity you get to create new and fun worlds for your baby and eventually your baby will learn how to create these worlds for himself or herself.
